2010 NHL Awards

The National Hockey League will celebrate its stars on 23rd June at the Pearl Concert Theater in the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas. The hosts of the 2010 NHL Awards have not been announced yet but it was confirmed that Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg, a long-time hockey fan, will be a special guest.

The show will also include other special guests and two live performances by Florida rockers Shinedown. Rapper Snoop Dogg will offer a special musical performance too at the NHL Awards ceremony, presenting his latest hits and the internationally famous Cirque du Soleil will present a special performance from one of their seven productions in Las Vegas, which have been acclaimed all over the world.

A limited number of tickets for the 2010 NHL Awards will be sold to the public and cocktail reception will take place after the ceremony at the Palms Pool & Bungalows. The awards to be presented include the Art Ross Trophy (top scorer for the regular season), the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy (perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey) and the Frank J. Selke Trophy (outstanding defensive forward).

The National Hockey League Awards are a great opportunity for hockey fans to watch their favorite NHL players plus Hollywood stars and famous singers all in one room. The Awards also are a great occasion for the world of hockey to celebrate and reward the achievement of the sport and the NHL stars that make them possible.
